An Indian astronaut will herald ‘Viksit Bharat’ by landing on the moon in 2040, Union Minister Jitendra Singh informed the Lok Sabha on Monday (August 18, 2025) as the House took up the discussion on astronaut Shubhanshu Shukla being the first Indian to visit the International Space Station.
